While reading blogs tonight, I noticed that my cousin Shellie participates in what is called "Photostory Friday" and I thought, "Oooo a game and Oooo, it's only 11:30 pm here which means it's still Friday and Oooo I think I want to play this here Friday game."
So 1, 2, 3
Ready or not here I come...
MEET SOCKMAN
SOCKMAN IS VERY POWERFUL
SOCKMAN
IS EVEN STRONGER THAN
(brace yourself)
.
THE HULK!
.
Man I'm going to sleep better tonight knowing that he's lying here beside me.
Please don't ask me why my four year old is in my bed, separating me from my hubs and punishing my ribcage with his ever wandering knee.
This is not a post about bad parenting. It's a post about SOCKMAN okay, and if you're not careful I just might sick him on you.
So unless you are stronger than the HULK, you might want to keep your judgements to yourself.
But advice?
Now that is very welcome.
Seriously, how the heck do I get this kid out of my bed?

We have this rule never to put the baby in our bed...and we always break it sooner or later! (Like last night...when the baby was sick and kept waking up.) When the kids got older, though, we put a large pillow and some blankets on the floor next to our bed, called it "the nest" and told the kids that if they really needed to come in our room at night (bad dreams, etc....) that they could crawl in "the nest". We tried to make it sound cool...and it worked! (Once in a blue moon we still wake up to find the 10 year old in "the nest".) Try it! Oh, and by the way...great pictures! Sockman rules!
HAHAHAHA! Those are the funniest pictures!
If you are asking for some advice...if my daughter gets up at night and comes to my room, I just politely take her back to her bed. It may take a few times and you may not get much sleep that night, but they will get the point! :-)
Happy PSF!
We also have a nest and only one child uses it EVERY NIGHT. The other one always tries to get in our bed, but if we are consistent and put him back in his bed, night after night after night, he will start staying there, until something disrupts his schedule (like vacation). Good luck and what a cutie.
maybe you can tell him the real Hulk doesn't sleep with his mom! ha ha ha
cute pics! :o)
lol what a great photo friday.
too funny!!
i love sockman!!
I love the underwear mask! It really makes the whole super outfit!!! :D
In order to get the child out, it is LOTS of work every day.... remove Sockman and then when he comes back remove him again. It will be days of no sleep for all involved, but one day you should have your bed back! Good luck!
