WRITER'S WORKSHOP PROMPT:
Write a Haiku that describes what you love about an ordinary day (typically a Haiku is supposed to be about nature, but this is what I love most about an ordinary day so here we go).
His day begins mine
In the shadow of my boy
My senses renewed

I really love both the writing and the photo....short and sweet and beautiful...
That is so pretty! And what an adorable picture!
I love it!
Dropping in from Mama Kat's!
Aww this is a sweet haiku/senryu, I'm a huge haiku fan, I love that it's so quick to do but you can say so much with just a few lines.
Jade
sweet!
Oooh! That was good. I'm a huge avoider of non-rhyming poetry, but I liked that. Maybe I should give haiku another chance?!
Oh very nice!
Great photo - how can you ever deny that boy anything, look at those eyes!
I agree....what is ore natural than the renewal of life through children. Nice photo and haiku!
Cheers!
Cute haiku :)
Boy-fully and bare words beautiful giving the feeling of bottom-less love and joy ;)
I love the look on your face in the photo. It makes your poem!
